Use the Artwork tool to upload a new design, reuse an existing artwork, or select embroidery that has already been digitized.
Open Artwork, then choose one of these options:
Upload artwork — add a new file from your device.
Choose existing artwork — reuse a previously saved, non-digitized artwork.
Choose digitized file — reuse embroidery that has already been prepared for production.
Select Upload artwork.
Choose the file from your device.
If prompted, select the intended physical print width.
Wait while the customizer prepares the file and places it on the product.
Select the decoration method and review the available options.
Position the artwork within the placement area.
For PNG artwork, the customizer removes unnecessary transparent space and retains a small transparent production border. This helps the displayed size more accurately represent the artwork that will be decorated.
Vector and layered files may be converted to a print-ready PNG for display and mockup creation. The original high-resolution file can remain attached for production.
Select Choose existing artwork.
Search by filename when necessary.
Hover over an artwork thumbnail on a computer to see a larger preview in the workspace.
Review the filename and pixel dimensions to confirm the file.
Select the artwork to place it on the product.
Existing artwork excludes files that are currently being digitized or have completed digitization. Those files are available under Choose digitized file.
Select artwork in the workspace to activate its controls.
Drag the artwork to move it.
Use the resize control to change its size when resizing is available.
Use the rotate control to change its angle.
Use the settings control to reopen its artwork details.
Use the remove control to remove it from the product.
Keep the artwork within the indicated placement area. Centering guidance appears when the artwork approaches the horizontal center.
The artwork details show its physical dimensions and quality assessment. Increasing an artwork's physical size reduces its effective resolution.
As a general example, artwork that is 12 inches wide at 300 DPI should be approximately 3,600 pixels wide.
A low-quality warning does not increase the resolution of the original file. Upload a larger source file or reduce the artwork's physical size for better results.
Depending on the decoration method and artwork, you may be able to:
Remove a white background.
Recolor artwork using selected production colors.
Add a colored stroke around visible artwork.
Attach a larger or vector production file.
Edited artwork is prepared as a new production-ready artwork when you save the design, generate mockups, buy the product, or add it to a store. Your original artwork remains available separately.

When available, use the high-resolution artwork option to attach a larger raster or vector source file. This file is preserved for production.
The product workspace and mockups use the prepared PNG preview for predictable display. The attached high-resolution file does not replace that PNG during mockup generation.
