Use the Text tool to create text artwork directly in the new product customizer. You can enter text, choose a font and color, adjust alignment and spacing, and optionally add a production stroke.
Open Text in the design toolbar.
Replace type here with your text.
Choose the alignment.
Select the text color.
Adjust line spacing when the text contains multiple lines.
Choose a font.
Set the intended artwork size when requested.
Select Add text to create the artwork and place it on the product.
The text-entry area also provides the font preview. This keeps typing and visual review together rather than showing a separate preview box.
Use the font list to browse available fonts. Each font name is displayed using that typeface when the browser can load it, helping you compare the available styles.
Use the font search to find a font by name.
Select Load all fonts to make fonts installed on your device available in the font picker.
Your browser may ask for permission to access local fonts. After permission is granted, supported fonts are added to the picker and can be previewed before selection.
Local-font access depends on browser support and permission settings. If the button is unavailable or permission is declined, use one of the fonts already shown in the customizer.
Use the alignment icons to choose:
Left alignment.
Center alignment.
Right alignment.
Use the line-spacing icons to choose tighter, standard, or wider spacing for multi-line text.
Alignment controls how multiple lines relate to one another inside the generated artwork. Position the finished artwork on the garment separately after it is created.
Select a color that provides enough contrast with the selected garment colors. Review the text on every product color included in the design.
The chosen color becomes part of the generated text artwork. Decoration-specific production requirements can still apply after the artwork is placed.
Turn on Add stroke to add an outline around the finished text.
Enable the stroke option.
Enter a stroke width in pixels. The recommended starting value is 3 pixels.
Choose the stroke color.
Add the text to the product.
The stroke is intentionally not shown in the small text-entry preview because that preview is not displayed at production scale. The stroke is applied accurately when the full-size text artwork is generated.
A subtle note in the Text drawer reminds you that the stroke will appear on the finished artwork rather than in the preview.
After selecting Add text, the customizer generates a transparent PNG and places it on the product as artwork.
Select the finished text in the workspace to:
Move it within the placement area.
Resize it when resizing is available.
Rotate it.
Review its physical dimensions and quality.
Choose the applicable decoration method.
Remove it from the product.
Text artwork is generated at production resolution so its pixel dimensions correspond to the requested physical size. A small transparent safety margin is retained around the visible text.
Avoid extremely thin fonts at small physical sizes.
Use enough contrast between the text and garment.
Check letter spacing and line spacing before adding the text.
Use a modest stroke when fine details need support.
Review the finished artwork's physical dimensions rather than judging size from the entry preview.
Confirm the result on every selected garment color.
