Here are a few reasons why you may need to enter a dropshipping order
As you are building your clothing line, you may find that from time to time you need to enter a
dropshipping transaction manually.
For example, maybe your friend saw you wearing a shirt and wanted to buy one from you and gave you cash for it. Now you want to have the t shirt made and shipped right to their door. Or perhaps, one of your best customers experienced a customer service issue and you simply want to provide them with a t shirt without them having to purchase a new one. Finally, perhaps there are a few instagram influencers that you want to hook up with shirts, but you don't want them to have to purchase the shirts from your online store.
In all of these cases, it's probably best to simply enter the dropshipping order directly on the Apliiq website. This avoids you having to charge your own card for the order in your store, or creating a discount code for yourself.
Starting A Dropship Order
The first step is to find the product you'd like to dropship and to go do the saved design page for that product. You can find all of your saved designs in the
saved design page of your account.
Once there click the next button and select the "dropship this product" option
Next select the tab "add to cart"
You will see your cart slide open and your product is in the cart. You can easily update your product sizes and quantities. You can also find other products and add them to your cart as well.
Please note: You cannot combine sample & bulk orders with your dropship orders. They must be placed separately.
Once you click checkout you will taken to a special checkout experience just for dropshipping. There you will be able to confirm your ship from address or select a different one. Please make sure to update the shipping address so the order is mailed directly to your customer's shipping address.
Ship From Address For Dropship Orders
Select the store that you would like the order shipped from. Selecting a store will impact your order in the following ways;
- The Ship From address that you have setup for that store will be utilized on the shipping label.
- For custom stores, the fulfillment tracking will be sent to the store that is selected.
- For Shopify or WooCommerce stores, tracking cannot currently be posted back automatically to your store. You must manually post the tracking back into your store.
What happens after you complete your order?
When you complete your order you will receive an email with all the order details. When we finish making the product and ship it out, we will email you a shipping notification, so that you can personally notify your customer with the tracking information.
