How to install Apliiq WooCommerce Plugin


Idea
Great news!  Apliiq has a pre-built plugin that will allow you to point & click your way to integration your WooCommerce store with your Apliiq account.  You don't need to write any code to get things up and running, just follow the below instructions.

Apliiq & WooCommerce Plugin Requirements:

  1. Free Apliiq Account
  2. Wordpress & WooCommerce store.
  3. Siteground hosting (Apliiq approved)

Install the Apliiq Plugin

  1. Go to https://www.apliiq.com/print-on-demand/woocommerce & click "install the app"
  2. On the "connect" page enter the URL to the root domain of your WooCommerce store.  (ex. https://pocketink.co/).  Click Connect.Installing Apliiq's Print-on-Demand Plugin to Integrate with WooCommerce

  3. You will be prompted to login to WooCommerce.  Login & grant access for Apliiq to connect to your WooCommerce store.

  4.  When the installation is completed you will be redirected back to the dropshipping setup page of your Apliiq account.

Double Checking Installation was Successful

It's never a bad idea to double check that your WooCommerce integration was setup successfully.  WooCommerce stores maybe hosted in different environments with different configurations that are outside of Apliiq's control.  If you feel like the installation isn't working, please check the troubleshooting guide & advanced troubleshooting guide.  You can also use the list below to know what elements to expect within your WooCommerce store upon successful setup.

  1.  API Key -  The Apliiq installation will automatically create an API key and assign permissions to the Apliiq app.  Apliiq uses this api key for all data integration purposes with your WooCommerce store.  This can be found under WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > REST API

  2. Webhooks - Webhooks communicate your order information from your WooCommerce store to Apliiq's production systems.  A webhook should be generated upon successful installation.  This can be found under WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > Webhooks. Confirming Successful Installation of WooCommerce Plugin

Additional Store Configurations

  1. Units of measure - By default WooCommerce stores come with the Metric system for how weights and dimensions are measured.  Apliiq uses the imperial system of measurements, so we recommend you set your store to weight in ounces (oz) and dimensions in inches (in).  You find this setting within WooCommerce under WooCommerce > Settings > Products

Additional Store Plugins To Strongly Consider

In most cases, you will want to add additional functionality to your WooCommerce store which will help you automate the order processing for your customers' orders.  Review the below list of free plugins we recommend to ensure your Apliiq X WooCommerce integration is fully operating.
  1. Advanced Shipment Tracking Plugin - By default, WooCommerce does not have the concept of fulfillment built out within the plugin.  However, this problem is best fixed by installing the Advanced Shipment Tracking Plugin.  Once the advanced shipment tracking plugin is installed and activated, the Apliiq plugin will automatically send all fulfillment data to your WooCommerce store.  And after a little additional configuration of the AST plugin, the fulfillment data will automatically change your customer's order status to 'Completed':

  2. WooCommerce Weight Based Shipping -   By default, WooCommerce cannot charge shipping weights based on rates (this is how Apliiq charges shipping).  If you'd like to match Apliiq's shipping rates, we recommend installing this plugin, which will allow you to configure shipping rates based on the total weight of your orders.

  3. WooPayments -  In order to successfully dropship products to your customers, you will need to be able to collect payments from them.  Woopayments will allow you to charge your customers credit cards and collect payments for your store.
