How to setup products for warehousing & 3PL

Did you know, Apliiq can hold and fulfill products that you have made elsewhere?  These products can be fulfilled right alongside your print on demand goods.


Setup your product in Shopify First

Setting up new products and syncing them with your Apliiq warehouse only takes a few minutes.  If you are having products made outside of Apliiq, we recommend setting the product up within your Shopify store first.  Be sure to add these elements to your products within Shopify:

Required items in Shopify product

  1. Product Name
  2. Sku (must be unique)
  3. Variant (must have at least one variant)
  4. Set a default image for each variant.
  5. Set a product weight in oz.
  6. If you are shipping internationally, you must setup country of origin and Harmonization Code.

Download your product into Apliiq Warehouse

Once you have your product saved in Shopify, go to your Apliiq warehouse page and select "new merchandise".

Select the option to download from store, search for your product and select it.  Once it's downloaded it will be displayed in your merch list.

How to add or update key shipping information to products

If you imported your products into Apliiq, but didn't have all of your key shipping information setup, fear not, it's simple to add shipping information like weight, harmonization code, and country of origin to your products.

Simply find the product in your merchandise list and select "edit item."  You can add and update your product values there, this change will be applied to all variants within the product.

 

Sync Your Product Inventory

Select the "sync product" option from the actions menu.  Once you have activated the sync, the "sync" icon will be displayed and on hand inventory will be kept in sync with your Shopify store.
