How to get the largest possible prints and embroidery

I can't expand my artwork to it's full size

If you are working to create a design on the website and you are not allowed to expand your artwork to it's full size, there are some easy way to troubleshoot the issue and ensure you can get your artwork as large as possible.

Tightly Crop Your Artwork To Remove Transparent Space In Your File

The transparent space in your artwork maybe taking up the available space for your artwork.  The Apliiq website is expecting your artwork to be tightly cropped.   This means you will need to remove the transparent space from around your artwork.

Embroidery size is intentionally limited

As noted in how to prepare your artwork for embroidery, the max embroidery size is 4" x 4", so if you are placing an embroidery on the front of a t shirt, the embroidery size will automatically be limited to 4" x 4".

Once one of your artwork dimensions reaches the max size, the size of the artwork cannot be expanded further.  For example, in this design below, the embroidery has reached a max width of 4" so it cannot be enlarged further, even though the height is ~.5" tall.  If you would like to stretch the height of your artwork, please make that change in your file prior to uploading.

Even though this example is with embroidery, the same applies to prints and other application types.

How To Get Large Chest Embroideries?

We know that large chest embroideries are exceptionally popular on garments like pullover hoodies or for the backs of jackets.   If you are looking to place a bulk order we maybe able to accomodate larger embroidery sizes, but they will cost extra.  Simply email cs@apliiq.com to request a quote.  Make sure to include your artwork, the quantity you need and the base garment.

Unfortunately, direct embroidery is not a good approach to create these types of designs for on demand production like dropshipping.  To create this type of aesthetic, we recommend using large or extra large embroidered patches.  The patches will be created upfront in batch and simply sewn onto your garments on demand.  This keeps the turn around time for your products fast and reduces the production cost of your designs.  If you want to create extra large patches, simply email cs@apliiq.com with your artwork and the size you want it created.
