You will need to take action in reviewing and updating your orders bound to Brazil in order to ensure they are properly delivered.
Brazil Tax Code
Brazil issues tax registrations and documents for individuals and business purposes:
1. CNPJ NO. (Company-XX.XXX.XXX/XXXX-XX)
2. CPF NO. (Private - XXX.XXX.XXX/XX)
Brazil Shipping Requirements
For any shipments sent to Brazil it is required that one of the above tax ids is included with the shipment.
How To Update Your Shipments To Include Your Customer's Tax Id
- Most eCommerce stores can be configured to capture either a CNPJ or CPF from your customer when they are checking out. Find the CPF and copy it to notepad.
- Go to your orders page in your Apliiq account.
- Search for the order using your order id.
- Edit the order and add the CPF or CNPJ number to the Company Name field of the shipping address.
- The CPF or CNPJ number will be printed as part of the shipping label.
Additional Help
It is likely that your customer will need to pay duties or customs to receive their shipment. Apliiq recommends letting international customers know that customs and duties may be due upon delivery.
