Keeping your inventory in sync between your Shopify store and the Apliiq Warehouse ensures that your online stock levels always match what’s physically available. Follow these simple steps to set everything up correctly.
Before importing your products into the Apliiq Warehouse, make sure they’re properly configured in your Shopify store.
Each product variant should include:
Product Name — Clear and consistent with your brand naming.
Product Image — Each variant should have its own image.
Unique SKU — Every variant must have a unique SKU for tracking.
Weight — Required for shipping calculations.
Harmonization Code (optional) — Add if you plan to sell internationally.
đź’ˇ Tip: Your SKU is the key identifier that connects your Shopify product to the inventory stored at Apliiq.
Once your Shopify products are ready:
Click “New Merchandise” to start importing.
Search for your Shopify products directly from your connected store.
Select the variants you want to add.
After adding all products, move on to the next step — creating your shipment.
⚙️ You only need to import each product once. From then on, Apliiq will manage its inventory levels automatically.
Now it’s time to get your physical inventory to Apliiq so it can be received, labeled, and managed.
List all the inventory you plan to send, including quantities for each variant.
Make sure your items have barcodes.
If you can’t label them yourself, Apliiq can do it for you — but labor fees will apply.
📦 Pro Tip: Include packing slips and clear labeling inside your shipment to help speed up the check-in process.
Once Apliiq receives your shipment:
The warehouse team will verify and check in your products.
As soon as the items are received, your Apliiq warehouse inventory will automatically update to show available quantities.
🕒 You’ll see your stock populate in your Apliiq Warehouse dashboard once the check-in process is complete.
After your inventory appears in Apliiq:
Locate the variant you want to sync.
Select “Sync Inventory.”
When syncing is complete, a sync icon will appear next to that variant.
From then on, Apliiq will automatically keep your Shopify on hand inventory updated as orders are fulfilled or restocks are processed. Shopify will automatically subtract committed and unavailable inventory from on hand to set your available inventory in your store.
Your Shopify store and Apliiq Warehouse are now linked and syncing inventory automatically.
This setup ensures customers always see accurate stock levels and prevents overselling or stockouts.
